2013/2014季第七至第九滑--1

上次滑雪之后感冒比较严重，这是今年第二次。星期一上班，鼻子象关不紧的水龙头，滴答不停。喷嚏一个接一个。键盘上全是病毒不要紧，传染同事是大事，周二在家上了一天班，终于把＂水龙头＂堵住了。由于几个月前定的killington ski trip 周四就要出发了，十分担心病重了滑不了。连日来一杯接一杯喝了应该有好几桶热开水。还好出发前鼻子已经通气了。
Killington Ski trip 2014-02-06 to 02-09 Ski 2.5 days
Go with High Park Ski Club (HPSC) 41 people in which about 6 instructors; half of people in their 50s, 60s, even in 70s; half of people are advanced skiers in STEP 8,9 no matter how old, fit or fat, tall or short they are. I don't see them wear brand name outfits. They can fly on slops. In this trip I finally feel comfortable stay at STEP 7. I definitely have distance to reach STEP 8.I am the only Chinese in the trip. Everybody are friendly. Trip leader prepared wine, ginger ale and many snack for the bus trip. Of course it also have movie DVD to play. It is a long trip 9-10 hours driving each way.
Day 1
I did 2 green runs before the lesson. After talk with instructor, Ray, he thinks I should be in STEP 7 or 8. So I take lesson with STEP 7. Laura is today's instructor. Killington's trial map is too complicated to read. She can find right trial quickly. We have 5 people today, I am pretty fast. Only one people is a little slow, She is good but she does not like go too fast. She had cancer surgery a few years ago. She looks about at late 50's or early 60's. After lesson We had lunch with instructor at K1 lounge. The soup was most expensive salty soup I have ever had!
In the afternoon 4 ladies we made several easy run on blue and green. Zrinka from Croatia and I ran a little more.
The lifts close at 4:00 pm, we took the shuttle bus back hotel.
The dinner was not ready at 7:00pm. Some of people were drinking in the bar. Some people went to hot pool. I would go there, too, if i knew. I am a nut and don't know how to chat in English culture. I feel sleepy when talking too much. The dinner was good especially the roasted pork. After first run, the food has almost all gone! No desert , I drake a cup of coffee, it made me sleepless the whole night. My eyes and body seems rested well though.
