Erik Guay World Cup DH Gold medal!

Yesterday I saw the news from CBC that Erik Guay from Mont Tremblant won the Gold Medal at World Cup Downhill in Germany.  People going to Mont Tremblant next long weekend will visit his home mountain.  His father used to be the ski school director there I think and his mom may still be teaching skiing there.    With a lot of injuries on the Canadian team this year, Erik is only expereinced one left to conitnue with  the Alpine FIS competition.  Congratulations!  Eirk.   You can see the news item on www.cbc.ca
