The Calgary board is pretty quiet these days. :)
Our group (of 4) was on a ski trip early Feb to Revelstoke and Kicking Horse. We spared a day to visit Lake Louise since one of us insisted. However, I was a bit disappointed in the snow depth there. Among my previous visits (4 times), I don't remember seeing so many exposed rocks up top. Anyway, it was still fun although we spent most time on groom runs. Not much to report except one tree in Rock Garden really hurt me, haha. Anyway, let share a video instead.
Kicking Horse, one tough mountain. That's all I could say. :) There was no new snow whole week before our arrival, so we still missed the famous powder there. However, the snow was kept really good (same for Revelstoke).
Their runs are under-rated. Green run also doesn't exist, only one cat track. Their blue groomer could easily be named as (easy) black else where, long constant pitch groomer. You could go top-to-bottom with 1000m vertical on those, non-stop. Not my type. Their bowls, on the other hand, are quite accessible and challenging (I could dream how nice those would be after a big drop).
Anyway, I don't have my videos organized and photos are mostly on other people. Here is the only video I have from KH. Dropping down the "Bowl face".
Don't know, probably ~35 degree for the top section? (which I cheated and slipped a lot :) ) Actually this is probably one of the easiest double-black since it wild open.

We were at KH last Dec. Snow condition was really great, like all my other visits. I hope we can ski together if we go to Whistler in future, or when you come to this side of Rocky mountain again.

Another pic of us struggling down to the entrance of Feuz Bowl. The position of the red person at the far end was where we drop down. Next picture is what's it looks like at the bottom.
