just before I went to sleep.
I prayed for good health for my family

There's a test at school tomorrow, I want to stay home,
I can't even pretend to be sick.
My mom won't believe me, I've tried it before,
by now she knows my every trick.

I'm not asking for a disaster, like an earthquake or a flood,
something simple would do just fine -
I know that you are busy, you got a lot on your mind,
I don't mean to be out of line.

Tomorrow is Friday, the kids are wild on Fridays, and my

would be a teacher one day.
