The Cerro Catedral ski resort is the largest of the Argentine Republic, is located about 20 kilometers from San Carlos de Bariloche in the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Year after year its 95 thousand inhabitants are prepared to receive tourists from all over the world, mainly European tourists. Since 1938 it began to explode as this mountain ski resort and since 2004 the company Catedral Alta Patagonia took the award of the hill and began a modernization plan for all modes of transport to achieve mobilize more people in less time. At present, the Cerro Catedral has 16 lifts and 22 ski lifts. The height of the summit is about 2380 meters above sea level and the average snow in the same is 3 meters.
