我这一两月， 丢失钱包两次（都找回来了），丢失汽车钥匙一次（做公交上班一次）给丫头忘带午饭一次（$5.25). 丢失结婚戒指一枚（还好ld没有翻脸）。。。好像还有，记不起来了

其实丢钱包， 特省钱， 高高兴兴拿好东西， 到买单的时候， 一拍脑子，
“哎呀， 没卡，没法买单。”


开车也忒小心， 万一警察叔叔想请喝茶， 直接就把车拖走了

核桃应该是好东西，就是如果完全没有加工过的，吃几个就觉得涩了。

我倒是有个烤核桃的方子，巨简单。 不过从来都是吃人家的。 自己没试过。

说你抓住小事不放，你还不服气。
结合整片中心思想来看，sunny就是忘了一件事情, "关灯"。

你非要整清楚，是那一天， 关的是紫外线灯，还是日光灯。 诊所的灯光规定云云， 是不是有些舍本逐末。。。累不累啊。


重点是“sunny 忘记了到底有没有关灯”， ok, 其他不重要。

谈到老年痴呆， 我有个小故事讲一讲：

The Rain

It was a busy
Morning, about 8:30, when an elderly

Gentleman in his 80's arrived to have
Stitches removed from his thumb.

He said he was in a hurry as he had an
Appointment at 9:00 am.

I took his vital
Signs and had him take a seat,

Knowing it would be over an hour

Before someone
Would to able to see him.

I saw him looking at his watch and

Decided, since I
Was not busy with another patient,

I would evaluate his wound.

On exam, it was
Well healed, so I talked to one of the

Doctors, got the needed supplies to
Remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of
His wound, I asked him if he

Had another doctor's appointment

This morning, as
He was in such a hurry.

The gentleman told me no, that he

Needed to go to
The nursing home to eat breakfast

With his wife. I inquired as to her
Health.

He told me thatshe had been there
For a while and that she

Was a victim of Alzheimer's Disease.

As we
Talked, I asked if she would be

Upset if he was a bit late.

He
Replied that she no longer knew

Who he was, that she had not

Recognized him in
Five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him,

'And you still go every
Morning, even though she

Doesn't know who you are?'

He smiled as he
Patted my hand and said,

'She doesn't
Know me, but I still know who she is.'
I had to hold back
Tears as he left, I had goose bumps

On my arm, and thought,

'That is
The kind of love I want in my life.'

True love is
Neither physical, nor romantic.

True love is an
Acceptance of all that is,

Has been, will be, and will not
Be.

With all the jokes
And fun that are in e-mails,

Sometimes there is one that comes

Along that has an
Important message..

This one I thought I could share with you.

The
