刚收到Sugerloaf发来的邮件:
Greetings Jaye, The grass is probably green in your backyard already (heck, you’re probably even mowing it) but here at the King of Spring, we’re just not ready to let go of winter yet. And with an abundance of snow still covering several trails, we’ll be re-opening this Saturday and Sunday, for another classic weekend of spring skiing.
Thanks in large part to our heavy snowmaking efforts back in the beginning of the season, trails like Skidder, Hayburner, King’s Landing, and Candyside are still covered nearly wall-to-wall in snow. Throw in a forecast for sunshine and temps in the 60s this weekend, and we just couldn’t say no to another weekend.
So if you haven’t quite had your fill of winter yet either, come on up and join us this weekend at the only open resort anywhere in Maine or New Hampshire.
Ethan
Ski with the King this weekend
We love to ski. And thanks to a powerful snowmaking system, abundant snowfall, 4,287 feet of elevation, and a northern location, we’ll still be able to do what we love this weekend, even when every other resort in Maine and New Hampshire has called it a season.
The ski season continues this weekend at Sugarloaf, and we expect to have at least 5-6 trails open, with the SuperQuad providing lift service to it all. Lift tickets will be just $39 for adults and $29 for teens, juniors, and seniors, and there will be corn a-plenty. Operations beyond this weekend are still very much up in the air, and we’ll have to wait and see how snow holds up before we make a final call. Stay tuned to the Daily Report for the latest, and rest assured that if we can ski, we will.
