If you have not been to Banff you should also go there in the summer. It is well worth a visit. Sunshine operates till May I think becuase it has so much snow. It is at the continental divide and you can ski in BC and Alberta. In the 60's and 70's you have to take a bus to go up before you have the gondola. Now the gondola takes you all the way ( I think in the 90's) and half way I think they even stop at the Goat's Eye side. It is a powder haven. Watch out for the sunshine - it can blind you eyes - snow blindness.
You are welcome. I went to Sunshine in around 72 and you have to take a bus going up the narrow 1 lane road to where the Inn is and that's how you ski. You can ski out , no need to ride the bus down. There was no goat's eye then. There fore not many people skied at Sunshine. It had many beginner trails all over the mountain. Beautiful scenery. I went again in the 80 and 90's and it became much more busy then. However I have not visited Sunshine for a long time but I always had very good memory of the place.
