谢谢分享经验!
我目前最主要的问题是, 看见冰, 我马上心跳加速四肢发软,得先把这些症状治了才能谈其他的。

For me I think you have to experience first and not to hurry. Even just to feel what is like to be on ice is important.   On a icy day I would go to a green slope or not so steep slope before you even talk about business. I would first start with doing bakash - sliding and moving your feet left and right to start to learn how you can stay centred (You cannot bakash if your are not centred you tend to just carve instead when your turn).   I find from experience it is not possible to teach student to carve on a very icy steeper slope.  Their edges are not sharp and they have soft skis.  Furthermroe they tend to stand on the uphill ski when they are worried.  All these things do not help.

If you have sharp skis and it is skiaable terrain though icy I would teach "Scoop" - an old trick from Pierre Gabout - ie lowering the downhill hand ( and therefore shoulder) towards downhill side to help students to angulate and cut into the ice.   It is importnat to do some exercise so that studnets are not afraidi to lean downhill and therefore hold the edge on icy.slope.  Also a wider stance may be helpful.

On pure ice *blue ice) I will forget about edging - just be light and sliding over it but make sure the upper body is not thrown behind.

I thinkg many of the things mentioned by you and the other skiers are all good and userful to handle ice.  However, I tend to do different things depending on the circumstances.   I totally agree with DSP that the centering is most importnat because you do not have much margin of error on ice.    And of course if your edges are not sharp do not go to any steep slope but just practice balanced sliding on greens.

I do not have more secrets than you guys.  I think practising is the best way and in Ontario and Quebec like C-sea says we are blessed with all these opportunities.

Does “Scoop" mean more counter balancing so that stance (downhill) ski will not be pushed forward too much and skid? At least I found today aggressive counter balancing is very helpful on icy slopes   发表于 2011-2-19 19:03
