it has nothing to do with the government/your passport.
既然你说要宣传文化,跟政府无关,那你为何要 ...
why not? consulate office is a good place for promoting the culture.
I consider it as an office, a place where Chinese people/overseas chinese people and their descendants go/
you like the beach/ocean/food in Cuba but you don't have to like/support Cuba government
I can defend China just like I can defend any ordinary people on street because
they did not do anything wrong in this specific "visa application case"
but other people begin to attack/demonize this total stranger.
Not to mention that China is no stranger to me, I was born and grew up there. Its culture is my root.
I'm proud of it
I don't know what's going on with you guys but
it seems like you guys hate china and curse China. I do have unpleasant experiences in China, just like in Canada or
everywhere else. I don't think such unpleasant experiences led me to hate/to curse/to attack/to demonize China.
I don't know what kind of experiences that can lead to such deep hatred in your hearts.
I'll stop right here. I've made my points loud and clear.
I'm curious, what CHina government did to you before? And How did you escape out of China and come to Canada?
and I don't think asking for an invitation letter for visa application is "in-humane"
Not asking for one is "more humane" for sure.
Why don't you do something to the Canadian Government to make it "more humane" in terms of visa application?
You pay $$$ tax and those canadian goverment visa officers simply don't do their jobs and yet they went on strike.....
blocking family re-unions/student coming to canada to study.....that's not humane as far as I understand.
That's something you should and can take some action to make an influence.
Ok, I'll shut up right here right now. No more discussion about visa application.
