Yeah! Good job! Never be afraid to talk. Now I am learning French and I have been learning French for more than 20 years and I still am like a kid ---and cannot manage it well because I do not live in Quebeci. However this year I decided that I will be serious about it and watch French TV every night. I find that it helped me greatly to just get used to the sound. I am Cantonese. When i first spoke Mandarin people are laughing at me uncontrollably. However I persisted and in the end I think I am speaking OK - not the best - but enough if I go travel in China. It is so much fun!
