many skiers lin this forum (just to name a few based on my observation: sunny, bullpower, flyingfox, and guagua.....etc)
at some point of time pursued big angulation and forgot it's just a form.
the result is un-balanced: including A frame, body weight on inside ski, and sitting back
Once they get rid of the idea of forcing themselves to ski high performance which is beyond their current ability,
they are very balanced and all problems diminish.
I'm not saying people should avoid high performance skiing.
I'm saying it takes time to build up the strength, balance, and skills....
you must have matching speed, terrain, turn shape, strength.. all combined to achieve balance with large angulation.
and it all comes together naturally without thinking of if I should drop the hip?counter rotation?separation?..... |
