I find acupuncture useful. I did it twice and then I had a very big xx movement and the pain went away. I got the pain from playing badminton. once after a long absence from playing. But there are many reasons that you can have a back pain. You should get a diagnose from the doctor and that might be helpful. If it persists for a long time you will have to be careful i think. You need to find out the cause so that you are not just dealing with the pain which is probably just the sympton.
Somehow I noticed after i hurt my back my bowel was affected too. So it was a double wammy and the acupuncture released the "blockage" and then i was healed.

I think the jerking motion in BMT causes the back to strain. Especially for me as my back muscle was not there. I felt it immeidately after I played then I drove for 1/2 hour more. So it was bad.
