How about they put a password on the phone. But that phone can still get scanned as a season pass?

OK, too much assuptions here. I have other things to worry about.

let say: the pass just a bar code picture display on the phone, it change each 5 mins( short duration  than a normal run),

each bar code only can be recognized "passed" status once..



But why we should take care about that, life is not that hard...

这个设计有个很严重的问题需要考虑：手机是不可以在那么冷的天气中挂在衣服外面的（比如夹在滑雪服手臂上的外侧透明口袋），否则电池会被冻到没电而关机。

所以我必须让手机始终保持在温暖的状态下，这通常代表放在衣服里。这也就代表我每次上缆车要从衣服里把手机拿出来。

当然，现在雪场的RFID卡，比如今年jay peak和massif用的，只要放在口袋里感应一下即可。但是，手机没有感应芯片，这个可能不成立。

如果这个问题解决不好，稍微有点鸡肋。

另外如果每个人都知道哪条雪道刚被groom，这不见得是好事。结果可能只会是你方圆10米内有20个人在抢。

最后，手机总会没电，特别是在雪场的寒冷环境下丢电很快。我如果今天出来滑雪，没有充足电，滑了2小时结果没电了呢？解决方法当然是有的，但。。。麻烦。

Whistler didn't get this working in the spring.  One of us tried that and the pass scanning person said it didn't work because of the sunlight reflection.  So we still have to show our passes.  Hopefully they will able to solve this problem next season.

If you have been to Whistler, once you get up to the mountain, we could spend the whole day without scanning your pass twice.  99% of the time, they scan at the village alone.

手机实在是太大了，还担心会摔跤呢。

03年在法国滑雪的时候就已经是可以用swatch手表充值雪票，上缆车的时候手表晃晃就好了。
