As a entry level skier, balance on the edge is my dream.
I have been told that skier should keep upper body Counter-Balance (CB) & Counter-Acting (CA) to maintain ski big angle during the turn. I thought that is right.
Those CB & CA actually is an abnormal movement compare to our daily walking movement on the ground. when you on the snow, most of novice skier has difficult time to struggle with the balance issue, it is lead the skier just reduce the CB & CA to keep 'balance'. It did create a barrier to improve ski level. Proper CB & CA demonstrate the ability about skiers. Proper CB & CA make your more like expert skier.
