我通常約滑10到15次會作一次edge sharpening及hot wax。我都是自己作的。

如果不是太講究的話，工具並不太貴。我從ebay上花30元買了一套簡單的ski/snowboard tuning kit，再花3元從Salvation army的二手店買了個舊式平底電熨斗，就這樣用了好幾年。

熱蠟材料成本，依等級品質會有所差異，但平均一次也就是3到5元。

You have to compare apple to apple, otherwise there is always something "cheaper". I am very hesitate to buy unknown brand wax. I typically buy Toko wax only. You can get from ski shop by KG. They are not those small packaged wax, but a big bar of wax in a box as 'bulk". They are called shop wax. I can't remember how much I paid, but for sure less than $50/KG. You price is $37.50/KG for an unknown brand. The prices are not that far apart. It does not make me feel attractive. It's your choice.

謝謝老大的說明，我也是有點猶豫所以始終不敢買。若是能以$50買一公斤正牌熱蠟，我當然是選擇它了。這可比小包裝的便宜太多了。

能否告知我那裡可能找到這種bulk wax bar。謝謝。

My last purchase was from Kenmark (10720 Yonge Street) few years ago. You can also check Corbetts or The Sign of Skier.

謝謝老大的開示才知道有shop wax這東東。

今天到密市的skiis&bikes的service shop一問，還真的有。那小子偷偷摸摸從櫃臺底下拿上來一大塊，500g賣25元。這可比120g小包裝賣15元便宜多多了。二話不說，先拿一塊。這樣以後我也敢每滑五、六次就給它hot wax一下。

再次謝謝老大。這次MT ski trip老大喝的咖啡就都記到我的帳上吧！下週MT見。

我要喝酒，还是高档的，大瓶的。
I did not know you went to Skiis and Biikes. They have $30 off anything over $60. You could have got more wax for about the same money.

I did a little shopping yesterday. KUU 500g wax is $16.99 at The Sign of Skier, and $29.99 at Corbetts.
