俺以前给别人写过一个东西:
Banff:
1. Banff Gondola. The Banff Gondola takes passengers to the summit of Mount. Sulphur with a beautiful panorama. There is a short 20 mins walk on the top.
2. Banff Down Town. Banff Ave.
3. Mount Norquay Viewpoint. On the way to Norquay ski resort from banff town.
4. Jonston Canyon: It consists of two falls, the Lower Falls and Upper Falls. Round trip of the whole loop takes about 1 hr – 1.5 hr by normal pace on a well maintained interpretive trail with slightly ascend all the way up.
Lake Louise:
1. The Lake
2. The Six Glacier Trail. Finishing the whole trail may take more than a half day, and might be bit of ambitious. But if the goal is to the another end of lake, it is an easy 30 – 45 mins walk.
3. Lake Louise Gondola / Lift. The ski resort is running on summer operation, meaning there is a Gondola / Lift (mixed Gondola Carts and Lift Chairs) to take passengers to the midway viewpoint of the mountain with a great sight of the lake and surrounding mountains
Hwy 93 / Icefields Parkway:
1. There are lots of viewpoints along the highway and you can just stop and go.
2. Bow Summit / Peyto Lake viewpoint. About 40k from Lake Louise. 20 mins one-way trip to the viewpoint with mostly gentle up hills.
3. Saskatewan River Pass. There is another canyon right before the River Pass resort. However, forget the name.
4. Columbia Icefields. There is a big-wheel bus tour departure from the resort building.
Jasper Area:
1. Maligne Canyon: Start from the bridge 1 or 2 beside the parking lots. The first 3 or 4 bridges are well worth the short walk. Values of bridge 5 and plus are not at the same level, and could be ignored
2. Maligne Lake: Further 20 mins drive from Malign Canyon parking lots. Boat tour is available on the lake.
3. Jasper Gondola. A short drive from the town.
4. Angel Glacier / Mount. Edith: 45 mins drive from Jasper town. A narrow mountain road with lots of switch backs to the parking lots. Another 45 mins round trip to walk to the glacier.
5. Athabasca Falls: About 1 hr from Mount Edit on the way back to Hwy 93.
