Big Air competition at Beijing

Did any one watch the Big Air competition at Beijing shown yesterday on Sportsnet from 12 - 1 30 p.m.?  It was a very impressive venue that they have built.  There may be a repeat if you have seen it.  Canadian Sebastien Toutant won with big prize money.

No unfortunately.  I watched it while waiting to see if there is a ride offered at the Forum as well.

It was shown on Sportsnet channel 22 during 12 to 1 30p.m.  Perhpas they will  repeat because that channel often repeats its program.  So go to Sportsnet.com and look up schedule or go to their website to see if you can see it again like a video.   The 1 2 3 winners are from other countries like Canada, Belgium etc.  but there was a consolation prize for a Chinese young fellow - he got a cheque of 30 thousand rmb.  The other winners got a lot more I think maybe 30 K US.  The most amazing thing is China built a very high tech structure for the event.  Quite astonishing that they would invest so much for a competition.

Perhpas even google and see if Chinese tele broadcast it if you have satellite dish.

Thanks Paul for the info.  No wonder the structure looks so grand.  We did not realize it is the bird nest.  It was at night and it was all dark except the flood lights.
