I think wood floor is OK.  You can put some area rug near it to absord the sound and make it more pleasant  Yamaha should be good.

How about Guitar?
Much cheaper than a piano. And you can carrie and play when go camping.
Guitar is cool.
Piano is serious, and hard to play in advanced level.

You are right. But get out of keyboard quickly after a year.
So you don't need to buy a piano. Buy a keyboard instead. Save that money.
And go skiing! :)

I am an outsider of music. So just ask a foolish question here:
Can pianos play rocks music as good as guitars?
Kids nowadays like Rocks, right? And it's cool to them.

Have you seen Oscar Peterson play? Many rock stars use the piano too - like Supertramp Roger Hodgson. He plays both piano and guitar. I went to three of his concerts.  发表于 2011-5-6 15:51
