我认为skidding是指失去控制，收不回来的搓雪。
高手收放自如的搓雪，不能叫skidding，叫steering。

算狡辩么？

carving的时候不一定要避免skidding，最牛鼻子的carving不是两条细细的线，而是一弯新月，它表明了滑滑雪在这个弯中的控制能力很强。

它同时表明这个新月弯的主人，可以造出两头尖，也可以前面粗，或者后面粗。

只能滑出两条细线的人是缺乏控制能力的表现。

仔细理顺了一下steering

Carving的时候，你踩在外脚内刃上，怎么才能pivoting，还要避免skidding？
ski tip是不可能向内旋转的，唯一可能就是ski tail向外微微旋转搓雪。
这个就要靠调整ski的engagement程度，在ski tip增加一点engagement，在tail减少一点。
在控制意识上，就是以脚跟为轴，微微旋转ski。
以脚尖为轴的话，容易失控，导致skidding。

重心要压在前脚掌上，以增加tip的engagement。重心压脚跟的话，也会导致skidding。
jluo大侠说的”adding pressure to the forward of the skis to engage the tip which leads the aft int the turn, thus steering“，应该是这个意思。

另一个方式是，内脚tipping，增加内侧ski tip的engagement，给外侧ski钉了一个轴，从而引导ski旋转。
但是老怪说"this is not steering”.
