Ski School: EVERGREEN OUTDOOR CENTER

The Evergreen Outdoor Center in Hakuba, Nagano, Japan is currently looking to hire qualified ski instructors to join our team of outdoor professionals, instructors and guides.
This position will involve teaching skiing to all ages and abilities and occasionally doing on-hill guiding clients on Hakuba's many resorts.
We are located in Japans Northern Alps and have spectacular scenery, miles of terrain, 10 resorts in the Hakuba valley and over 3m of snow a year!
Prerequisites for this position are a minimum CSIA Level 1 or equivalent and 1 season instructing or CSIA Level 2 or equivalent with shadowing or instructing experience, First-Aid & CPR certification, fluency in English and a working holiday visa for Japan.
Our major clientele base in winter are foreigners so fluency in Japanese is not critical but some working knowledge of the language is helpful in day to day life and on the ski hills.
We are a dedicated team of outdoor guides and instructors who work and play hard, we love the outdoors and working with people in creating the best experiences possible in all of our many seasonal activities. We ask all staff to arrive early December 2013 to commence a 5 day training. The Instructor position starts mid-December and will go on until March 31st 2014.
Shorter term positions from mid-December to end of February are also available.
