Slipping 跟 Skidding 的差別

我也來回一篇，這討論起始是我的困惑而已，這些用詞是講給初學者或沒滑過雪的人聽的還是給中高階以上或是教練聽的，用字不是應該盡量通俗易懂嗎？

我將最近思考的整理如下，就看各位覺得哪個字用哪個動作會較合理？

這幾個影片有的用SLIP，有的用SKID。

維基對這兩個字的說法：
Relating to movement of physical matter
• Slip (aerodynamic), an aerodynamic state in which an aircraft is moving sideways as well as forward relative to the oncoming airflow


Skid may refer to:
• Skid, a type of pallet, a metal, wood or plastic platform for holding machinery or equipment. Some pallets have planks across the bottom level, flush with the floor, but a skid has no planks along the full length or width to form a bottom level on the floor.

最後你們認為車中在移動的過程中，哪個是SKID？哪個是SLIP？

DEF:（Alpine）Skiing是人在无推动力作用下，凭借重力，在铺满雪的坡道上，凭借脚下双板完成滑降的过程。在滑降过程中能保持较好平衡，有能力控制速度以及转弯的被认为是高手。

For all CSIA followers, a definition has been given by CSIA:

Skidding: the sideways travel of one or both skis across the snow. Necessary for speed control.

The same movement/technique may be called by another term in other systems.
I think the PSIA definition is pretty close to that of CSIA, skidding is against carving, whether or not it's a required skill or an expected movement PSIA does not say it.
CSIA clearly says "necessary for speed control"

Compared to PSIA definition, CSIA does not mention the moving forward part but I think it's implied by default.
