标题: 转给去大白的高手看看
偶然看到的，总结大白周边三个雪场，另外两个是Sun Peak 和 Silver Star。看上去Sun Peak高手值得去看看，我查了地图，它在Silver star北边180公里。下面蓝字是粘贴的：

1。Sun Peak规模远远大于其它两个,3座山,目前在加拿大是第二大仅次于Whistler
2。奥地利队在那里集训冬奥滑降,黑钻和蓝道比其它两个多
3。可以试试星期四晚上的Moonlight ski+Sundance fondue
4。滑完雪下山去Kamloops,去Sunmore 西洋参农场直销店买参,做加拿大独一无二的西洋参spa---规模不算小。

但是,Silver Star / Big White 比SP更有family vacation的度假氛围。如果你滑cross country,最好的cross country trails和教练在silver star
总体费用而言,后面这两个应该比Sun Peak会便宜
另外如果有足够的精力的话,可以试着三个都滑!!!三个度假村之间有shuttle bus相连的,都是下午出发,所以也不耽误滑雪

我听说有个雪场叫做powder bowl,

只有2绿一蓝，剩下全是@#%$##$%. 号称 “The ultimate Steep”

难道不在大白附近？

从来没去过SunPeak，就连SilverStar这次也是第一次去。以我的水平，大白已经足够好了。

I believe Big White claims it is #2 after Whistler in BC. So I do not know if things have changed since 2008 since starting last year I believe Austrians trained at Sun Peaks. It is the home mountain for Nancy Greene - the Olympic Gold medalist from Canada in 1968 although she is a Senator now. I think Nancy Greene moved over there from Blackcomb - she and her husband Al Raine were instrumental in the early development of Whistler Blackcomb - used to be only Whistler and no Blackcomb and there was not much development at Whistler per se in the 60'0 even early 70's - as I remember. Nancy Greene really developed Sun Peak ( there was no Sun Peak before she went there - just Tod Mountain Kamloops. However I remember my sister really loved Silver Star - in the early 90's - it is considered a skier's mountain more than Big White ( Big White is great for snow boarders in comparison). However for those who ski in Ontario, all three are super duper - anyone place is a winner. Their powder is champagne Okanagan snow. Wish I were there.

好多信息! 从我的调查来看，我给他们的排序是，
1.Silver star
2.big white
3 sun peak

相对kicking horse, revolstoke 而言，都属于family friendly的雪场。有机会，会去sun peak住一周，毕竟开车7，8个小时就到了。
