Today is the last day for early bird . 45 dollars instead of 60. Held at Geogian College Barrie. It is for ski intructors pre-season indoor training. See csiaontario.com

Depends if there are others want to go as well. Usually it is quite good and there is a boot fitting session and many prizes and discounts. I might sign up. See how i feel tonight.

I received the program today. Looks really good. It covers Boot alignment, canting and leveling and alignment assessment, ski tuning, Preventiative injury strategies for alpine skiers, women's PTS, CSIA technical update, Inter-ski slide show etc. and the grand prize is to go on a trip with Interski team to Austria. I am looking forward to it! Tell you more when I return.

I went up to Georgain College for the PD day from the Ontario CSIA. The program was excellent. Of great interest and well attended was a talk by Canadian Scott Kress who was the 51th Canadain who climbed Mount Everest. His talk was really very interesting indeed with many pictures photos and props to demonstrate about his talk. He is a management/team building consultant - very interesting talk indeed on how he went up the mountain during 2008 China's Olyympic preparation when the travel visas to Tibet were all cancelled. Also the Boot fitting session as well as the CSIA tehnical session by John Gillies was excellent. And Steve Young talked about his journey working towards the nterski ski - a journey since 1994 and still has not been fulfilled. All very inspirational.
