I have a friend put his daughter into a immersion French program school. After one or two years, he had to take her daughter out of that school and wasted her daughter lots of time.

Don't go for those schools. French is not much of a use in the workspace any way except in Quebec. The point is, don't put too much pressure on kids. Put them to skiing/snowboarding and have fun!

不够疯狂！
我们（法语区）这里McGill边上有一偏英语学校Face，我朋友为了把老二送进去，头一天就开始去排队，老大组织一伙儿同学晚上睡帐篷。终于成功！

it's my daughter's school and i felt so lucky i didnt line up for it.

french immersion here too, and my daughter loves it. The most important thing is, my french improved significantly as well.
French immersion is popular in our area, for grade 1~6, only 1 english class, 11 other classes are francais.

是的，他们也一样。我老板三个娃全送Toront French School(俺们这很贵的私立学校）。他自己穿得很随便，没啥业余爱好。
