I do not know who this guy is but he is talking about the snowboarders -- not the skiers... Kind of reminds me of the days in the 70s on Colorado slopes where the Texans ( stereotyped as rich by the locals) that they were the ones with the newest Hansons and Hexcels at the bottom of beginner slopes waiting for their instructors. Of course these are just all stereotyping! BTW I find his Cantonese a bit funny too.

吴彦祖（1974年9月30日生），香港电影演员，祖籍上海，出生于旧金山，于加州成长，毕业于美国俄勒冈大学建筑学系。在1997年回到香港，开始电影及模特儿工作。吴彦祖在2004年的金马奖，以《新警察故事》赢得最佳男配角奖。以及凭《四大天王》一片，于第26届香港电影金像奖中夺得新晋导演奖。2010年4月6日，吴彦祖与相恋8年的女友Lisa S在南非举行婚礼，结为夫妻。

That is Cantonese. Maybe that is in Mandarin too.

Hi Phnxt... I guess there is no exactly the same meaning saying in English - I am not aware at least. Maybe it is becuase there is no Taishan in Canada ....he he... However I guess one can use "blind as a bat" i suppose although it is not exactly the same meaning.
