We were up at Whistler yesterday. Snow was excellent because of the colder weather we have this year. It wasn't anything like spring condition at all on the upper half of the mountain. Soft and powder everywhere yesterday.
I could easily said this year is the best year for April snow at Whistler within the last 10 years. Though weather may changes quickly, first half of May should have no problem with spring condition snow with your worst luck.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Anyone going to Whistler this weekend with our group? Day trip, and we have people going both Friday and Sunday.
